For Immediate Release 25 June, 2009 VELOCITIE Awarded Contract to Implement Cityworks Server MMS™ for the City of Racine
Green Bay, Wisconsin – June 25, 2009, VELOCITIE Integration, Inc. announced a contract with the City of Racine, WI, to provide implementation services for Azteca Systems’ Cityworks® Server MMS maintenance management system. The City has chosen Cityworks, the industry leading suite of asset maintenance management products for deployment in the Department of Public Works (DPW). VELOCITIE is implementing Cityworks Server™ for enhanced service request routing, tracking and management and for improving the work order management process across multiple areas.
VELOCITIE is providing the following services to implement Cityworks Server MMS: • Project Management to guide the implementation effort • Requirements gathering for implementation of Cityworks Server MMS • Modifying the Cityworks data models to meet the Department of Public Works business processes • Developing the Cityworks geodatabase • Configuring and installing Cityworks Server MMS software • System training, deployment, and support for DPW staff Rick Jones, the Commissioner of Public Works, commented, “The implementation of Cityworks Server MMS will improve availability of and access to asset and work order management data on GIS maps. The Cityworks Server MMS solution will also provide the desired performance measurement reporting capabilities for DPW staff.
