Azteca Systems Announces Cityworks Version 4.3
Confirms Flagship Product as the Leader in GIS-centric AMMS Solutions

Salt Lake City, UT — Azteca Systems Inc. today announced the release of Cityworks Version 4.3, its GIS-based Asset Maintenance Management System (AMMS) software. Cityworks 4.3 represents the latest improvements and newest functionality, making asset and work management easier than ever and further establishing Azteca’s position as the clear leader in Asset Maintenance Management solutions for GIS.

Combining the results of user feedback and market trends, Cityworks 4.3 core functionality improves with new tools for Service Request and Work Order, along with enhancements to Storeroom, Layout Manager, Designer and Asset Management. In all, there are more than 150 enhancements to the de facto standard in GIS-based AMMS. Cityworks 4.3 will be showcased at the company’s annual User Conference in Park City next week. Azteca will also unveil an array of solutions designed to scale across a variety of deployments – from individual to enterprise.

"Cityworks Version 4.3 represents another significant step towards our strategic vision,” says Brian Haslam, President Azteca Systems. “It remains a major piece in our strategy to offer our customers a complete and scalable array of products to help them meet their needs, fit well within their budget and well within their business process. Continually listen to the needs and wants of our customers, we aim to further enable them with the very best GIS-centric Asset Maintenance Management solutions while helping them leverage the use of their GIS data."

With full support for ESRI’s leading GIS software and the Geodatabase, Cityworks is still the only GIS-based Asset Maintenance Management System available. Version 4.3 is fully complaint with ESRI’s ArcGIS 9.x, ArcGIS 8.x and ArcView 3.x and will be commercially available in July 2005.
