The 2013 Cityworks User Conference will take place Wednesday, May 22 through Friday May 24, 2013 at the Salt Palace Convention Center, Salt Lake City, Utah. Pre-conference training will take place Monday, May 20 & Tuesday, May 21 at the Marriott Downtown at City Creek, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Showcasing Cityworks’ latest innovations, technology, and ideas, the Cityworks User Conference is the premier event for Cityworks users, business partners, and potential users. Those in attendance have the opportunity to participate in Cityworks technical courses, user and partner presentations, and new this year, the Cityworks Expo featuring Cityworks Showcase, Expo Theater, Solution Stations, and Partner Solutions Expo. The conference offers the unique opportunity of interacting with peers from around the globe, meeting with Azteca Systems’ staff face-to-face, and discussing future product direction. Pre-Conference training is available to new and existing users as well as specialized implementation training for Cityworks business partners.

“The Cityworks User Conference is the highlight of our year,” says Brian Haslam, President and CEO, Azteca Systems Inc.  “Our customers and business partners from around the world gather with our staff in an informal setting to share experiences and exchange knowledge. Moving to the Salt Palace Convention Center in downtown Salt Lake City represents the significant step for everyone, having outgrown previous facilities in Park City and in St. George, Utah.  We are very excited to invite the entire Cityworks community and I can promise, this will be well beyond any previous Cityworks event.”

The Salt Palace is a striking architectural showpiece and world-class convention center in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. Unique among major metropolitan cities, Salt Lake City combines a robust urban oasis with breathtaking vistas and easy access to a rich alpine backyard. Located minutes away from the Salt Lake International airport, downtown Salt Lake City is host to spectacular attractions such as the fabulous new City Creek Center, Temple Square, and an array of world-class restaurants and clubs, all within easy walking distance.  Affordable lodging rates at the Marriott Downtown at City Creek will be available to conference attendees and the Utah Transit Authority’s Airport TRAX light rail service will be open, ushering passengers between Salt Lake City International Airport and downtown.

Conference check-in and Welcome Reception will take place Tuesday evening as well as the Cityworks Expo Social Wednesday evening in the expo hall. A variety of recreational activities are also available for attendees to take advantage of the beautiful mountain scenery and other attractions.
