Pavement Analysis Interface
Azteca's Pavement Analysis Interface is a Cityworks® add-on designed to enable organizations to perform pavement analysis using the system of their choice. Originally built for use with MicroPAVER - the US Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratories (USA-CERL) system for pavement management - Pavement Analysis Interface allows you to fully leverage your investment in your GIS asset inventory and Cityworks Asset Maintenance Management System while eliminating the need for costly duplication of data and promoting a robust enterprise solution.

Pavement Analysis Interface allows pavement managers to maximize the benefit of the GeoDatabase. Eliminating the need to maintain two disparate asset databases, Performance for Pavement Analysis interface allows users to create and maintain the pavement (asset) inventory in the Cityworks GeoDatabase, rather than building a duplicate database the in pavement analysis system. It also provides a map-view without having to integrate data with the GIS. The pavement asset inventory is managed within the Cityworks GeoDatabase and exported to pavement analysis system. The GeoDatabase serves as the central asset inventory for both systems, as well as other applications.

Pavement Analysis interface provides a communication link between Cityworks and leading pavement analysis packages, such as MicroPAVER, enabling data to be easily used between the two programs. Sharing data, such as pavement inventory, work orders, and inspections increases the overall efficiency of your organization by utilizing the strengths of both Cityworks and pavement analysis system.

Pavement inventory, work activities, and inspections are established and maintained in Cityworks Asset Maintenance Management System. This information is exported to the pavement analysis system to calculate the PCI (Pavement Condition Index), perform pavement analysis, and utilize past pavement work histories to forecast future pavement conditions. The pavement analysis systems also provides significant value in planning pavement maintenance and rehabilitation. These activities can be prioritized to coordinate the necessary work based on pavement condition, budgets and available resources. This information is transferred back to Cityworks to create, schedule and track the work orders. The PCI is maintained in the asset GeoDatabase per segment.
