Cityworks Server PLL (Permits, Licensing, and Land) is a GIS-centric community development and management application that enables agencies to track permits; planning and development activities; engineering processes; business and regulatory licenses; and code enforcement cases from beginning to end.  An intuitive workflow engine efficiently tracks applicable tasks from application or request, through reviews; fee collection; inspections; commission meetings, hearings and abatement; license renewal, and more.

Fully integrated with Cityworks Server AMS, permits, licenses, and cases can be easily viewed in the same map enabled, web browser interface as work orders, service requests, and asset data.   Permits, licenses, work orders request for service, and other elements can also be linked and viewed simultaneously allowing organizations to leverage the functionality of both systems.

Developed in Microsoft .NET and Esri’s leading ArcGIS Server technologies, the GIS-centric, Server and browser-based design help an entire organization achieve higher levels of operational efficiency.   Uniquely integrated with Esri GIS, there is no linking, no special interface, and no risky synchronization.

Permit, License and Case Management

Cityworks Server PLL enables jurisdictions to take control of their key business processes. While cases are managed in a simple “container,” basic functionality is the same across the board. Yet containers can be configured to manage the different processes specific to each department’s needs. The generic “case” container also provides the flexibility for multiple departments to group together, allowing an organization to fully manage their business.

Cityworks Server PLL streamlines the community development review and regulation processes across departments.   Individuals, departments, and divisions can be notified when a specific task in the workflow requires them to take action.  Dynamically audited, Cityworks Server PLL keeps track of the date, time, field changes, and users interacting with each case.  The audit log is fully searchable and can be configured to audit selected items as defined by the organization.  Audit logs can be exported for review and analysis.

No modules.  Cityworks Server PLL is a complete solution without the hassle of licensing separate modules.  Powerful and scalable, agencies of any size can configure the system to manage the business across their organization. Departments use the same tools to setup and support their individual processes, all sharing the common denominator of an intuitive map view.

Cityworks server PLL’s unique template design allows departments to set up as many templates as they need to manage their specific processes.   For example, should a residential building permit require an Inspection Request form, while a Final Subdivision Plat may not, their templates can easily be set up accordingly.  Each specific template is assigned only those forms that are relative to that process.
