Formed in 1986, Azteca Systems, LLC initially provided GIS/IT consulting and geodata conversion and development. In 1996, the company pivoted and turned its full attention to Cityworks®, the world’s first Web GIS-centric public asset management solution. Today, Cityworks is a Web GIS-centric enterprise management platform available in conjunction with Esri’s ArcGIS®. Cityworks supports the ability to create and track permits, cases, licenses, service requests, work orders, inspections, and tests while managing the tasks and resources (labor, material, and equipment) associated with maintenance activity.

CITYWORKS AMS SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT

LOCATION: No Preference

DATE REQUIRED: Immediately

POSITION PROFILE

The successful candidate will support Azteca’s initiative to develop and maintain vertical experts in relation to the software.

  • This position will report directly to the Executive Director of the Product Roadmap on an ongoing basis.
  • Market focus in municipal and local government, public works, utility districts, transportation, and related segments.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the Cityworks AMS application.
  • Provide internal webinars for the purposes of updating staff on existing software functionality and upcoming new features.
  • Interact with Sales, Account Management, Projects, Documentation and Training for verification, reporting and tracking of software issues.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge and interact with Partner Management for updating partners of new functionality, upcoming releases and product roadmaps.
  • Work collaboratively with Stakeholder teams in relation to prioritization of new functionality and development of design documents.
  • Interact with Development to provide context and guidance in relation to software development.
  • Assist with product information inquiries, and benchmark requirements with a sense of urgency and accuracy.
  • Maintain records of interactions and activities with internal and external groups, recording details of inquiries, comments, as well as actions taken.

SPECIFIC SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • University Degree – 4 year program.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with the application of Esri GIS technologies.

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

LOCATION: Northeast / New England Region

POSITION PROFILE

Cityworks®–Azteca Systems, LLC functions efficiently and effectively under the leadership of the corporate President and CEO. The company is made up of five teams: Administration, Sales and Marketing, Enterprise Solutions, Client and Information Services, and Product Development. Cityworks is a Platinum Partner of Esri® and has over 500 licensed organizations throughout the world.

ORGANIZATIONAL

Position reports to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Individual will be working closely with sales and account managers on both existing and prospective customers to pursue opportunities and expand existing account activity.  Market focus in municipal and local government, public works, utility districts, transportation, and related segments, including community development.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Manage all sales and marketing efforts in the northeastern regional territory.
  • Develop and track opportunities toward closure.
  • Call on decision makers at targeted organizations.
  • Develop strong business relationships with existing and potential clients, as well as business partners.
  • Develop business case and demonstrate the Cityworks solution.
  • Provide superior customer service, and maintain frequent and personal contact with existing customers to maintain strong relationships, long-term customer loyalty, and develop further potential.
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge.

IDEAL CANDIDATE DESCRIPTION

  • Solid knowledge of community development, public works, and utilities in municipal and/or utility districts (water, wastewater, stormwater, streets, and traffic) required.
  • Knowledge and some skills with Esri ArcGIS® required.

  • Knowledge of leading database systems (Oracle and/or SQL Server) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is a plus.

TECHNICAL TRAINER

Due to an expanding client base, Azteca Systems is looking for a talented and capable Technical Trainer to join the Educational Services Department. The position mainly consists of offering live, web, and on-site training for Cityworks software users.

Department: Educational Services
Primary Location: United States-Utah-Salt Lake City Area (Sandy, UT)
Schedule: Full-time
Travel Requirements: This position will require some travel
Fluency in English language is required
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 1–2 years as a Technical Trainer

Live Training
Utilize strong interpersonal communication skills to deliver live training courses at Cityworks headquarters in Utah as well as regional offices in Texas and Wisconsin. Present technical content in a clear and concise manner to Cityworks customers and business partners who attend week-long courses. Share examples of software applications throughout the training course while adhering to a detailed course outline. Involve attendees in sharing insights on how Cityworks is used in their daily work.

Web Training
Deliver web training and involve all attendees during the web sessions. Work as part of a team with other trainers to coordinate sessions and present training content.

Internal Training
Train new hires on Cityworks and other third-party software. Work with the Educational Services Manager and other trainers to give one-on-one sessions over the web or in conjunction with larger, live trainings.

Training Documentation and Course Content
Review training documentation, test functionality, and make suggested edits. Add relevant, new content to courses for new software releases.

Training Environments
The Educational Services Department uses cloud servers for use as training environments. Part of the responsibilites included in this position would be for the applicant to eventually support, create, maintain, and update cloud server environments for training courses as well as testing.

Software/Hardware Experience
Preference will be given to applicants who have practical experience with the following software products:

  • Esri (ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, etc.)
  • SQL Server
  • Cityworks AMS/PLL
  • Crystal Reports
  • Windows Server 2012 R2
  • VMware and/or Amazon Machine Instances (AMIs)
