Create the SQL Server database and populate database tables/fields using the new Database Manager 2014 product; setup custom fields; define security and permissions; generate service request, work order, and inspection templates in the new web-based version of Designer 2014; install Cityworks Server AMS 2014 and stand up the website; control access to tabs and toolbars; define the Inbox, configure map services, etc.

Cityworks in the Field: Comparing Mobile Options

A detailed comparison of Cityworks Field, Cityworks Mobile web app, Cityworks Mobile for iOS, and Cityworks Mobile for Android functionality will be presented. Plenty of time will be dedicated to working with all of the mobile software options during the training. All office setup and configuration workflows will be included in the course.

Customizing Cityworks Server AMS Using XML
1 full day | $600/personThis beginner- to intermediate-level training will focus on customizing the Cityworks Server AMS 2014 graphic user interface (GUI) using primarily XML code, while incorporating elements of HTML (Hyper-Text Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), and embedded JavaScript. Learn XML best practices and how to implement basic XML code to optimize the Cityworks GUI, manage data integrity, and create streamlined workflows for your organization. After an explanation of XML fundamentals and key concepts, simple XML code will be introduced, gradually increasing in complexity as the course progresses. No prior coding experience is necessary to benefit from this training.
