Radley Corporation, a global software solutions provider, recently completed its first Cityworks integration for the City of Independence, Missouri. Independence Power and Light (IPL) went live with Radley software solutions for automated data collection, allowing the organization to streamline operations and improve productivity.

“Radley is pleased to have helped the City of Independence enhance their Cityworks functionality,” said Kevin Cammet, vice president at Radley Corporation. “Radley’s hardware and software experts helped the city automate warehouse transactions through a real‐time Cityworks‐centric integrated solution.”

Independence Power and Light (IPL) uses the Cityworks GIS-centric public asset management platform to manage their public infrastructure and its associated work activities and costs. IPL also uses Cityworks to manage its materials and assemblies.

From a simple and user‐friendly mobile user interface, Radley software allows the city to perform Cityworks transactions instantly from a mobile device. In addition, Radley’s barcode scanning functionality streamlined the city’s receiving process, eliminating paper packing slips.

“Material status is now instantly available as parts are moved in and out of the warehouse,” said Janna Weir, IPL systems programs supervisor. “We no longer have to rely on staff making time to sit down at a computer and make entries.”

Radley’s barcoding and data collection software provides a complete productivity solution for local governments, public works, and utilities—all within a Cityworks‐centric environment. Learn more about Radley’s Cityworks integration at www.radley.com/Cityworks.
