Timmons Group was selected by Hamilton County, Tennessee Water and Wastewater Treatment Authority (WWTA), with the assistance from the Hamilton County Geographic Information System (GIS) Department, to provide consulting services for the implementation of an upgrade from their existing Azteca Cityworks® Desktop to the new Cityworks® Server AMS environment (Azteca Systems Inc.).

The WWTA is responsible for the public sewer system throughout the unincorporated areas of Hamilton County, Tennessee and seven surrounding municipalities. The WWTA installed the Cityworks application in 2000 but never fully implemented it.Timmons Group is pleased to assist the WWTA with a means to track work from the office and the field performed on its sewer assets and infrastructure to allow for more effective budgeting and management of its maintenance activities as well as tracking inspections on assets and service requests from its customers.

“The WWTA is excited about the upcoming enterprise work management system implementation project with Timmons Group. This project will incorporate industry-leading technology to provide enhanced benefits to our customers and staff. Cityworks will be an important tool as the WWTA thrives to meet the requirements of its Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Management Operation and Maintenance (MOM) Program and the regulations of Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC). This project and the assistance we are receiving from the Hamilton County GIS department will enhance the continued success of the WWTA in meeting its’ goals to protect our community’s environment.” – Cleveland Grimes, Hamilton County WWTA Executive Director.
