Create the SQL Server database and populate tables using the new, 2014 Database Manager; setup custom fields; define security and permissions; generate service request, work order, and inspection templates in the new 2014 version of Designer; install Cityworks Server AMS 2014 and stand up the website; control access to tabs and toolbars; define the Inbox, configure map services, etc.

Cityworks Server PLL Administration Training
5 full days | $3,000/personThis training focuses on the configuration of Cityworks Server PLL 2014, including relational database creation and setup, Cityworks Server PLL software installation (main and public portal), website construction and architecture, website security, roles, and permissions. Time will also be spent working in Designer as it relates to Server PLL. Attendees will also receive instruction on the integration points between Server AMS and Server PLL, and how they interact with the GIS. Another focal point of this training will be working with end user Server PLL functions, including creating a case, building permits, code enforcement, etc.

Comparing Mobile Options—1 full day | $600/personDetermine what mobile options would be most applicable at your organization for Cityworks Server version 2014. A detailed comparison of Cityworks Field, Cityworks Mobile web app, Cityworks Mobile for iOS, and Cityworks Mobile for Android functionality will be presented. Plenty of time will be dedicated to working with all of the mobile software options during the training. All office setup and configuration workflows will be included in the course.

Customizing Cityworks Server AMS Using XML

$600/personThis beginner- to intermediate-level training will cover XML basics for changing the default graphic user interface (GUI) of Cityworks Server AMS 2014. Learn ways to increase functionality, enforce data integrity, and customize workflows by modifying the appropriate XML files and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and by embedding JavaScript. Course content will begin with basic XML functionality, build on key concepts, and become more complex throughout the course.• November 11, 2014
Configuring Storeroom—1 full day | $600/person
Learn what is necessary to configure the new, web-based, Storeroom version 2014 to track material costs, stock on hand, location, primary suppliers, etc. Costing analysis for work orders via LIFO/FIFO, weighted average, and other cost values will be discussed. Attendees will understand how to create and track different storeroom suppliers and the materials they provide. Other course content includes controlling price points and inventory using audit tools, creating transaction reports, and examining how
